On September 17,  2026 the Ambassador Maksym Subkh met with Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila, Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood of the State of Kuwait.

The parties discussed prospects for deepening Ukrainian-Kuwaiti cooperation in the areas of social policy, protection of children and families as well as opportunities for exchanging experience and best practices between the countries.

The Ambassador expressed his gratitude to Kuwait for its consistent humanitarian support for Ukraine and its readiness to develop practical cooperation in social and humanitarian spheres.

The Minister emphasized Kuwait's unwavering commitment to its humanitarian mission: supporting and protecting peoples affected by wars, crises and conflicts.
