On September 26, 2026, Ambassador of Ukraine to the State of Kuwait Maksym Subkh participated in the “Kuwait Plants” greening campaign organized by the UN-Habitat Regional Office in Kuwait.

As part of the event, which brought together members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the State of Kuwait, the Ambassador planted an acacia tree in a park in the Kuwaiti capital as a symbol of Ukrainian-Kuwaiti friendship.

The event provided an opportunity for representatives of diplomatic missions to join collective efforts to green urban spaces, protect the environment, and promote sustainable development.
