On April 22, Ambassador of Ukraine to Kuwait Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa welcomed Ms. Sarah al-Rashidi, a teacher at the Umm Kulthoom Secondary School for Girls, at the Embassy’s premises. In 2019, Ms. Al-Rashidi co-organized the student telebridge between the Umm Kulthoom school and Kyiv Gymnasium of Oriental Languages No. 1, and also played a key role in the 2024 international exhibition "Kuwait through the Eyes of the World", where Ukraine was featured within a separate booth.

The meeting occurred a day after a celebratory breakfast hosted by Umm Kulthoom School, honoring the Ukrainian students from Kuwait University who participated in the international exhibition "Kuwait through the Eyes of the World".

In recognition of the longstanding educational cooperation, Ambassador Dr. Balanutsa presented Ms. Al-Rashidi with a commemorative souvenir adorned with Ukrainian symbols. Both parties expressed their hope for the continued success of their collaborative efforts.
