On December 16, 2025, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the State of Kuwait, Maksym Subkh, presented his Letters of Credence to His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait.

The ceremony took place at Bayan Palace with the participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, Mr. Abdullah Al-Yahya, the Director of the Amir’s Office, Mr. Jamal Al-Theyab, as well as other senior Kuwaiti officials.

During the audience, the Ambassador conveyed greetings to His Highness from the President of Ukraine, H.E. Volodymyr Zelenskyy. His Highness expressed his appreciation for the warm words and conveyed his greetings to the President of Ukraine.

In the course of the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of development of Ukrainian–Kuwaiti cooperation in various areas of mutual interest. Ambassador Maksym Subkh emphasized Ukraine’s readiness to further deepen bilateral relations, strengthen political dialogue, and expand cooperation in the economic, investment, and humanitarian fields, including efforts aimed at advancing a comprehensive, just, and sustainable peace for Ukraine.
