On May 24, 2026, Ambassador of Ukraine to the State of Kuwait Maksym Subkh met with Deputy Director General of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry Imad Al-Zayd.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues related to Ukrainian-Kuwaiti cooperation in the trade and economic sphere, as well as prospects and ways to intensify bilateral trade and investment cooperation. They also agreed on a plan of joint activities for the current year.

Maksym Subkh invited the Kuwaiti side to join the business component of the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC 2026) in Poland. The Head of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry was presented with the investment catalog of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, as well as commercial proposals from Ukrainian manufacturers.
