On May 25, 2026, Ambassador of Ukraine to the State of Kuwait Maksym Subkh held a meeting with Chairman of the Union of Investment Companies of Kuwait (UIC) Mr. Abdullah H. Al-Terkait.

During the meeting, the parties reviewed the current state of bilateral trade and economic cooperation between the two countries and noted the considerable potential for its further enhancement.

Particular attention was paid to promising areas of cooperation, including investment attraction, implementation of joint economic projects, and cooperation in the fields of finance and asset management.

The parties also discussed practical steps toward the implementation of these intentions, in particular the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding with a relevant Ukrainian institution, which would establish a legal framework for long-term partnership.

Maksym Subkh invited Mr. Al-Terkait to participate in this year’s Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC 2026) in Poland and presented him with the investment catalogue of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, as well as investment proposals from Ukrainian producers.
