On September 20, 2019, the Embassy of Ukraine in Kuwait celebrated the opening of its Friday School, attended by approximately 60 guests including teachers, students, parents, and members of the Ukrainian diaspora.

During the gathering, Ambassador Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa delivered a speech congratulating all attendees on the commencement of the new academic year. Dr. Balanutsa extended his best wishes for success and inspiration to both teachers and students as they embark on their journey towards acquiring knowledge.

The event featured special guests from the Kuwaiti company "Al-Salam Partnership," which delighted attendees with Ukrainian "Monaco" ice cream from the "Three Bears" company. Additionally, the "Voice of Overseas Community in Kuwait" team was present to capture photo and video recordings of the occasion.
