On 13 September 2022, at the Embassy of Poland in Kuwait a presentation for the "Mom, I don't want war" archive project was held, along with the concert of Ukrainian pianist, Evgeny Khmara, dedicated to child victims of the war and aggression. The concert also included the participation of Ukrainian music virtuoso Viktor Shramko. Together, the musicians played world-famous Ukrainian compositions - "Shchedryk" composed by Leontovych and "Melodia" by Skoryk.
During the event, the attendees, among which were the representatives of diplomatic missions and government agencies of Kuwait, were able to witness the clothes designed by leading Ukrainian designers.
The Ambassador of Ukraine to Kuwait, Oleksandr Balanutsa, in his speech spoke about the parallels between the suffering of the Polish people and Ukrainians during WWII and the largest scale war of the 21st century - the Russian war against Ukraine - respectively.
The Ambassador of Poland in Kuwait, Pavel Liehovich, expressed his support and delight in the Ukrainian people.
At the event, Ambassador of Ukraine, Oleksandr Balanutsa read out a touching poem written by Ukrainian poetess, Diana Rudenko titled "Another curfew", describing the war in Ukraine.
