On February 10, 2024, the Ukrainian Embassy in Kuwait, led by Ambassador Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa, unveiled a Ukrainian exhibit at the «People Talk Forum» held at Kuwait University. This cultural exhibition, which attracted a large audience, featured numerous embassies showcasing their respective cultures, cuisines, and fashion. The Ukrainian team presented an array of handcrafted items, books about Ukraine in both Arabic and English, traditional folk attire, and Ukrainian cuisine. Visitors also had the opportunity to explore a special photo area designed to mimic a Ukrainian village, complete with authentic artifacts.

The Ukrainian exhibit was meticulously crafted and managed by the embassy staff, members of the Ukrainian community in Kuwait including Mrs. Olena and Ms. Mariam Hamama, and Ukrainian students on scholarships from Kuwait University.
