On 14 November 2025, Ukrainian art was presented in Kuwait during the Fall Festival at the Yarmouk Cultural Center. The Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Kuwait, jointly with the Ukrainian community, presented a bright and welcoming Ukrainian stand featuring traditional fine arts.
Visitors were shown works created in various techniques: cross-stitch embroidery, painting, knitted items (so-called patchwork art), wool watercolors, and beaded jewelry crafted by Ukrainian artists Halyna Stratienko, Maryam and Olena Hamama and Liubov Vlasiuk. Samples of Petrykivka painting and books in Ukrainian and Arabic were also presented.
The Ukrainian stand attracted considerable attention from festival guests. Ukrainian families with children, students, and local residents came to show their support.
As part of the festival, a flash mob took place with the participation of Ambassador of Ukraine Maksym Subkh, the embassy team and their families, community representatives, and visitors to the stand – admirers of Ukrainian art.
The Autumn Festival brought together participants from various countries, including artists, architects, craftsmen, actors, and musicians. Across the festival venues, guests could explore different art forms - theatrical performances, traditional and modern Arabic music, family activities, books, competitions, panel discussions, and much more.
