On October 15, 2021, the Embassy initiated the first Ukrainian language class for children of Ukrainian citizens residing in Kuwait since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. The class was launched by Мs. Vlasyuk, who began with a preliminary assessment to gauge the students' proficiency levels. Following the session, educational plans were further discussed with the parent committee.

The opening of the 'Friday school' featured a ceremony with the Embassy staff in attendance. Ambassador Dr. Balanutsa delivered a welcoming address, congratulating fellow citizens on the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, and the Day of the Cossacks.
