23 January 2026 14:00

On 23 January 2026, the first Ukrainian language lesson was held at the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Kuwait within the framework of the reopened weekend school at the Embassy.

The Ambassador of Ukraine, Maksym Subkh, addressed the students and their parents with welcoming speech, congratulating them on the resumption of Ukrainian language teaching after a long break, as well as on the occasion of the Unity Day of Ukraine. The Ambassador emphasized the importance of unity, mutual support and solidarity among Ukrainians abroad, as well as the need for continued support for Ukraine.

During the lessons, students of all ages - from preschoolers to high school students - learned about the history of the Unity Day and the state symbols of Ukraine, and together with their parents visited a thematic photo exhibition at the Embassy.

We sincerely thank the teachers and volunteers for their contribution to the resumption of the school’s activities - Liubov Vlasiuk, Viktoriia Kravchenko, Kateryna Pikalova, Yuliia Prytyka and Kateryna Kapustina.
