January 29, 2026 Ambassador of Ukraine Maksym Subkh met with the Acting Director General of the Kuwaiti State News Agency KUNA, Mohammad Almannaеi.

The Ambassador informed the Kuwaiti side about the ongoing massive Russian missile and drone attacks on peaceful Ukrainian cities, their devastating consequences for Ukraine’s infrastructure, and the importance of joining international efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace.

The Ambassador emphasized the importance of strengthening partnership relations between the national news agencies Ukrinform and KUNA within the framework of the valid agreement signed in Kyiv in 2016.

During the meeting, Maksym Subkh underscored the Embassy’s readiness to facilitate the organization of joint events with KUNA aimed at disseminating objective and unbiased information about the ongoing Russian armed aggression, as well as at exchanging experience in training specialists in the sphere of information.
