On May 19, H.E. Ambassador Maksym Subkh held a meaningful meeting with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense of the State of Kuwait, H.E. Dr. Abdullah Meshaal Al-Sabah, during which they discussed a wide range of issues of Ukrainian-Kuwaiti cooperation to counter common challenges and threats.

During the talks, the Ambassador briefed the Kuwaiti high-ranking official on the latest developments on the battlefield and the results achieved by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the context of repelling the ongoing Russian aggression against Ukraine.

They reviewed in detail the situation in the Gulf region, and also discussed ways to strengthen regional security, in particular, taking into account Ukraine`s unique experience in countering missile and drone threats.

The parties agreed on further communication to deepen cooperation in relevant areas.
