On the 1st of December 2022, Ambassador of Ukraine to the State of Kuwait Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa met Dr. Hamad Abdulwahab Hamad Al-Adwani, Minister of Education and Scientific Research of Kuwait. During the meeting, Dr. Balanutsa presented the “Ukrainian Global University” initiative and invited Kuwait to join the project. 

Besides, Ambassador touched upon several issues that Ukrainian students of Kuwait University face following the Covid pandemic and russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine. 

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador briefed Minister Al-Adwani on Ukrainian grain initiative and presented a book titled “Genocide by famine: 1932-1933” (in Arabic).
