During the meeting of Ambassador of Ukraine Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa with the Libyan Ambassador to Kuwait Mr. Suleiman Al-Sahili the parties discussed  the latest developments of the regional and international agenda, in particular humanitarian consequences of the war against Ukraine. 

In this regard, Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa briefed his Libyan colleague on the recent outcomes of the “Grain from Ukraine” humanitarian initiative, aimed at protecting the world from the global food crisis, as well as the “Peace Formula” launched by Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to achieve just and lasting peace for Ukraine.

At the end of the meeting, regard, Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa presented to Mr. Al-Sahili a selection of Ukrainian books translated into Arabic, among them classical literature (Lesya Ukrainka and Taras Shevchenko) and modern literature (book of memoirs about prominent Ukrainian coach V. Lobanovskiy).
