During the meeting of Ambassador of Ukraine Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the State of Kuwait Mr. Salah Ali Al-Maliki, the parties discussed  the latest developments in the region and the world, in particular humanitarian consequences of the war against Ukraine. 

In this regard, Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa briefed his Bahraini colleague on the recent outcomes of the “Peace Formula” and “Grain from Ukraine” initiatives, launched by Ukraine to achieve just and lasting peace for Ukraine as well as global food security. 

At the end of the meeting, Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa presented to Mr. Al-Maliki a selection of books, published within Ukrainian Embassy’s public diplomacy projects: book of memoirs about prominent Ukrainian football coach V. Lobanovskiy (in Arabic) and Kuwaiti short stories translated into Ukrainian (in Arabic and Ukrainian).
