Ambassador of Ukraine to the State of Kuwait Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa expressed his sincere congratulations on the occasion of awarding Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah prestigious Legion of Merit, a top US honor.

US President Donald Trump presented the award on Friday 18, 2020 to Al-Sabah's eldest son, Sheikh Nasser Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, as the Kuwaiti leader is currently receiving treatment. 

Ambassador Balanutsa also stated that the wise foreign policy led by Emir of Kuwait as well as his tireless mediation of disputes in the Middle East made a significant contribution to achieving peace and stability in the region.
