On December 16, 2019 the Ambassador of Ukraine to the State of Kuwait Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa met with the Assistant Foreign Minister of Kuwait for consular affairs Mr. Sami Abdulaziz Al-Hamad.

During the meeting the parties discussed the ways of intensifying bilateral cooperation in the consular sphere as well as the protection of the rights of Ukrainian citizens due to increasing the number of detentions of Ukrainians in Kuwait for violating the local law and moral and ethical standards accepted in the Kuwaiti society.
