On April 05, 2018 the Ambassador of Ukraine Mr. Volodymyr Tolkach met with the Director General of the Immigration Department of Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior Major General Talal Marafi.

During the meeting the Kuwaiti side confirmed the implementation of the simplified entry regime for the citizens of Ukraine from 18/04/2018. Hence, from this date Ukrainians will have an opportunity to obtain Kuwait entry visas on arrival at border entry points or electronic visas through the special website: http://evisa.moi.gov.kw.

The parties agreed that bilateral steps undertaken to simplify the visa regime between Ukraine and Kuwait must considerably boost tourist flow between the two countries and contribute to intensifying economic and people-to-people ties.

In the course of the meeting the parties also exchanged views on other topical issues of bilateral cooperation in migration and visa sphere.
