On July 14 the Deputy Prime-Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine Mrs.Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze met with a delegation of the National Assembly of Kuwait. The parties discussed the promising areas of cooperation between both countries and expressed a desire to resume the work of the Ukrainian-Kuwaiti intergovernmental commission.

The Deputy Prime-Minister thanked Mr. Al-Shaii for the consistent support for Ukraine, including assistance in the construction of a new Chernobyl object (“shelter”), noting that our countries have great potential for cooperation, especially in energy, medicine, education and agricultural spheres.

The Chairman of the Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group in the National Assembly of Kuwait Mr.Faisal Al-Shaii assured Mrs.Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze in constant position of his country to support Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

In addition, the parties agreed on the need to develop air services between the two countries.
