On July, 14 the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of Ukraine Oksana Syroyid met with the delegation of Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group with Ukraine within the National Assembly of Kuwait headed by Faisal Al-Shaii.

The parties discussed a range of issues of further cooperation, particularly in the fields of energy, agriculture, tourism and medical sector, as well as the ways of enhancing interaction at the level of parliaments of both countries.

Mrs.Oksana Syroyid thanked the members of parliament of Kuwait for supporting the territorial integrity of Ukraine and stressed that Ukraine is interested in Kuwaiti investments in energy, agriculture and other sectors of the economy.

During the meeting Mr. Faisal Al- Shaii handed a letter of invitation on behalf of the Chairman of the National Assembly of Kuwait, addressed to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, to visit the State of Kuwait on an official visit.
