On May 20, 2016 the representatives of the Public Union of Ukrainian-Kuwaiti friendship and Embassy’s staff gathered together in the premises of the Embassy in order to celebrate the Embroidery Day.

On the occasion of the abovementioned holydays the Ukrainian community prepared and presented an exhibition of embroidered pictures. Besides that, the community discussed the recent victory in the "Eurovision" contest of a Ukrainian song on genocide and deportation of Crimean Tatars from their historical lands.

During the celebration the exhibition dedicated to the combatants of anti-terrorist operation and volunteers was presented.
