On May, 2 the Third International Shooting Friendship Competition under the patronage of H.E. Minister of Information and State Minister for Youth Affairs of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Sabah was held.

The competition was initiated by the Kuwait-Ukraine Friendship Union with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Kuwait and the Sabah Al-Ahmed Olympic Shooting Complex on the occasion of the 70^th anniversary of the victory over Nazism in Europe and the end of the Second World War.

The event involved nine teams of Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Canada, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and USA, whose members competed for prizes in national and individual standings.
