On March, 7 Ambassador of Ukraine in the State of Kuwait Volodymyr Tolkach met with Kuwait's Minister of Health Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer.

In the conversation the parties discussed the results of the Kuwaiti official’s working visit to Ukraine in late January this year and outlined the main directions of development of relations between two countries in health sphere.

The Parties noted prospects of Ukrainian-Kuwaiti cooperation, particularly in the treatment of infantile cerebral paralysis and other nervous system diseases, heightening qualification of medical personnel and training students in medical higher educational institutions in Ukraine.

The interlocutors discussed possible issues that can be appropriate to be submitted to the Second Session of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Kuwaiti Commission on economic, technical and trade cooperation and the development of the legal base of bilateral cooperation in health care sector.
