On August 25, 2020 Ambassador of Ukraine to the State of Kuwait Dr. O. Balanutsa met with the President of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Mouhamad J. Al-Sager.

The Ambassador expressed to the team of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry his gratitude and appreciation for the precious support in organizing the Ukrainian-Kuwaiti Business Forum which took place in the framework of the "Week of Ukraine in Kuwait" in January 2020.

During the meeting, the Ambassador invited the Kuwaiti Side to take part in online business briefings aimed to inform Ukrainian and Kuwaiti entrepreneurs about the possibilities of trade and economic cooperation.

The Ukrainian and Kuwaiti Sides agreed to organize an online briefing for Ukrainian companies in November 2020 which will be dedicated to international food trade and food security in Kuwait.

It was noted that the recently approved visa-free regime for Kuwaiti citizens will contribute to the further development of trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and Kuwait.
