On April 23, 2020 the Ambassador of Ukraine to the State of Kuwait Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa met with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of commerce and industry of the State of Kuwait HE Abdullah Al-Afasi.

The parties considered the ways of intensification of bilateral cooperation in the field of trade and agriculture in the face of global economic crisis. In particular, they discussed the possibility of importing Ukrainian agricultural products to the State of Kuwait.
