The international group of teachers from Khalifa school, in charge of Ms. Kateryna Pikalova (Ukraine), participated in the International Day Event, showcasing to students the rich Ukrainian culture alongside booths representing cultures from around the world. The Ukrainian booth, adorned by the dedicated pedagogical staff and representatives of the Ukrainian community in Kuwait, featured vibrant crafts, books, traditional attire, sweets and souvenirs. 

During the event, the teachers were introduced to the Embassy’s literary projects: a book of memories (in Arabic) about Mr. Valeriy Lobanovskiy, the esteemed Ukrainian football coach who had led the Kuwaiti team in the 90s, and a collection of Kuwaiti short stories translated into Ukrainian.

The Embassy extends its heartfelt gratitude to the school's management and the pedagogical team for their creative and successful organization of the International Day Event, reflecting their innovative approach to teaching.
