On August 31, 2021, Embassy of Ukraine in Kuwait together with Association of Incoming Tour Operators of Ukraine of Ukraine and Exporters and Investors Council under the MFA of Ukraine held the online conference «Ukraine – brand new destination». The Conference aimed at promoting tourism between Ukraine and Kuwait as well as building direct relations between tour operators of the two countries.  

At the beginning of the online event, Ambassador of Ukraine Dr. Balanutsa addressed over 75 participants inviting them to visit the newly launched Arabic version of the Ukraine.ua website and presented the Exporters and Investors Council as a platform for international business cooperation. 

The welcoming remarks were also made by Ambassador of Kuwait Dr. R.Al-Adwani, Deputy Head of the Kyiv State Administration Mrs. Khonda, and Editor-in-Chief of “Ukraine in Arabic” Mr. M.Faradzhallakh. 

After the welcoming remarks, the President of Association of incoming tour operators of Ukraine Mrs. Maria Yukhnovets made a presentation of the Association and its’ members. Mrs. Maria Yukhnovets emphasized the importance of the establishment of direct cooperation between Ukrainian and Kuwaiti tour operators and informed them about the development of tourism business in Ukraine. Members of the Association of Incoming Tour Operators of Ukraine presented diverse tourism capacities of Ukraine, main types of tourism, and destinations. 

This event was organized with the support of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry as well as the Kuwait Travel and Tourism Agencies Association.
