On February 17, 2022 Ambassador of Ukraine to Kuwait Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa and Third Secretary of the Embassy Olha Seheda met with the Chairwoman of the Kuwait’s Cultural and Social Society Mrs. Lulwa S. Al-Mulla and the Society’s Secretary General Mrs. Ghada Y. Al-Ghanim. Ambassador informed the Kuwaiti side of the ongoing tense situation around Ukrainian borders, reviewed Ukraine’s achievements to ensure gender equality in the workplace, equal opportunities and outcomes for women and men at work and showed digital information products about Ukraine in Arabic (in particular, web-site UKRAINE.UA). 

In her turn, Mrs. Lulwa S. Al-Mulla agreed that Ukraine’s challenges today resemble Kuwait’s security threats back in 1990-91. The Society’s Chairwoman also talked about cultural, educational and humanitarian projects of her organization and affirmed her readiness to further cooperate with the Ukrainian side.
