On 20 March 2022, Ambassador of Ukraine Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa met Mr. Gerald Golbeck, Senior Pastor at the Evangelical Church in Kuwait, and Mr. Shaji V. George, TLC Administrator, to discuss the ongoing barbaric war in Ukraine and ways to support Ukrainians, who are struggling against Russian invaders for the peaceful life and freedom. 

In their turn, Mr. Gerald and Mr. Shaji introduced some ideas of providing spiritual assistance to Ukrainian citizens, residing in Kuwait, which would be further announced.
