On January 11, 2021 Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa, Ambassador of Ukraine to the State of Kuwait met with the Secretary General of Kuwait’s National Council of Culture, Arts and Letters Dr. Kamel Al-Abdeljaleel to discuss the final stages of the joint literary project “The Secrets of the Eastern Fortress: Kuwaiti Short Stories in Ukrainian”.

Ambassador handed over the translated texts of the selected short stories and the parties discussed further process of the book production. 

Kuwaiti short stories in Ukrainian language may interest those who study the literature of Kuwait as well as its traditions and lifestyle.
