On 24 February 2022, EU, G7+ Ambassadors in Kuwait paid a visit to the Embassy of Ukraine in Kuwait to express their condolences regarding Russia's launch of the full-scale war in Ukraine and affirm their support for Ukraine’s territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence.

The G7+ Ambassadors took the initiative to collectively appeal to the Kuwaiti political leadership to express officially their support for Ukraine.

Foreign Ambassadors also supported the idea of holding “Divaniyas” in the residences of European Ambassadors with participation of Kuwait’s private sector to convey the Ukrainian position to Kuwaiti business circles, public opinion leaders etc.
