On September 9, 2026, two new students from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv – Sviatoslav Kovalchuk and Anastasiia Repiakh – arrived in Kuwait. They will spend the year studying Arabic at the Kuwait University Language Center.

Their studies are part of a one-year scholarship program offered by Kuwait University, providing Ukrainian students with an opportunity to deepen their knowledge of Arabic and learn more about Kuwaiti culture.

The Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Kuwait facilitated their studies and warmly welcomes the students as they begin this important new stage of their educational journey.
