On September 17, 2025, diplomats of the Embassy of Ukraine in Kuwait took part in the presentation of the first hybrid-format Arabic language textbook in Ukraine - “Diplomacy of War.” The event was held in physical and virtual formats at the Media Center of the State Enterprise “GDIP.”
The Arabic language study book combines a printed textbook and an interactive online course with elements of artificial intelligence and is aimed at preparing students of Arabic studies, translators, diplomats, journalists, and analysts for work in the political-diplomatic and military-political spheres.
Ukrainian and foreign diplomats, scholars, and students took part in the event. Before the presentation, those present honored the memory of the fallen defenders of Ukraine.
The Ambassador of Ukraine to the UAE, Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa, addressed the participants with welcoming words, emphasizing the importance of high-quality Ukrainian-language materials on the Arabic language for the dissemination of truthful information about Ukraine in the Arab world.
Its co-authors - diplomats and scholars, in particular the compiler and project manager Dr. Olga Segeda, and co-authors Dr. Olha Maznichenko and Dr. Alina Kucherenko — spoke about the structure and features of the publication. All co-authors hold PhD degrees and have significant experience in research and practical teaching in the field of the Arabic language. The authors emphasized that the textbook was created in wartime and is intended to become an effective tool for both independent and professional study of the Arabic language.
