Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Kuwait expresses its sincere gratitude to the State of Kuwait for donating electricity generators to Ukraine, which will minimize the consequences of power outages for the civilian population.
The handover ceremony of Kuwaiti humanitarian aid to Ukrainians took place on September 25th following a fruitful cooperation of the Kuwaiti Red Crescent Society, the International Committee of the Red Cross and its regional delegations – Polish Red Cross and Ukrainian Red Cross, with the participation of representatives of the Embassies of Kuwait and Ukraine in Poland.
The electricity generators, donated by the Kuwaiti side, reflect the solidarity of the Kuwaiti people with Ukrainians in times of a severe humanitarian crisis. Since Russia’s full-scale invasion, it has been the third manifestation of Kuwaiti charitable assistance to Ukraine, following provision of humanitarian and financial aid to Ukrainians through the relevant UN bodies.
Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Kuwait highly appreciates the humanitarian efforts, made by friendly Kuwait to support Ukraine in its struggle against the invaders. Thus, Kuwait has reaffirmed its high title of the International Humanitarian Leader as well as mutual intention to develop bilateral relations with Ukraine, which have recently marked the 30th anniversary.
