On April 10, 2021, the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Kuwait headed by Ambassador Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa organized a tree-planting campaign in the national reserve located in Kuwait's Jahra district. The event was a collaborative effort, involving family members of Ukrainian diplomats and activists from the Ukrainian diaspora in Kuwait. Together, we planted 42 'ghardak' plants along the newly named Avenue of Ukrainian-Kuwaiti Friendship within the Kuwait's nature reserve.
Following the tree-planting, Ambassador Dr. Balanutsa expressed his gratitude to the reserve's management for their cooperation. He also honored the reserve's team with honorary certificates and souvenirs, acknowledging their contributions to this ecological initiative.
