On June 26, 2025, the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Kuwait honored the national symbol of the indigenous people of Crimea. A ceremony was held at the Embassy to raise the Crimean Tatar flag.

During the event, participants paid tribute to the Kremlin’s political prisoners — those persecuted for their Crimean Tatar identity and pro-Ukrainian position.

Members of the Ukrainian community, Kuwaiti citizens, and representatives of the Ukrainian-Kuwaiti Friendship Association joined in writing letters of support to Crimean political prisoners held in detention facilities in the temporarily occupied Crimea and in Russia.

Crimea is Ukraine!
