On May 14, 2024, H.E. Dr. Zubaydullo Zubaydzoda, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Kuwait and Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Kuwait, hosted a farewell reception in honor of Ambassador of Ukraine Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa and Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Major General Md Ashikuzzaman, marking the conclusion of their missions in Kuwait.

The ceremony was widely attended by members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Kuwait, as well as journalists. The event embodied the spirit of unity and cooperation that characterizes the diplomatic community in Kuwait. Attendees praised Dr. Zubaydullo Zubaydzoda for his dedication as Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in fostering strong bonds among foreign diplomats in Kuwait.

In his speech, Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa expressed gratitude to the wise leadership, government, and people of Kuwait for their support and effective cooperation throughout his five-year tenure. He highlighted that his journey as Ambassador of Ukraine to Kuwait had been enriched by the friendship and support of diplomats from all continents, many of whom tirelessly support Ukraine during these challenging times for the nation's statehood.
