Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha: “I was pleased to have a substantial conversation with the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council HE Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi on the sidelines of Dubrovnik Forum 2025. 

We discussed ways to broaden the Ukraine-GCC member states cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including economy and trade. Despite Russia’s war, Ukraine remains a global food security guarantor, implementing the humanitarian program "Grain from Ukraine”, sending agricultural products to countries in Africa and Asia, as well as “Food from Ukraine” initiative to assist Syria. I informed about Russia’s ongoing terror against Ukrainian people and Ukraine’s current diplomatic efforts to restore a just and comprehensive peace. 

I expressed gratitude for the invitation to attend the GCC-Ukraine Ministerial Meeting for Strategic Dialogue. We both agreed that we look forward to fruitful dialogue between Ukraine and GCC member states”.
