On 3 June 2026, Ambassador of Ukraine to the State of Kuwait Maksym Subkh met with Ms. Shaima M. Al-Asfour, Deputy Director General of the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition (PAFN).

The parties discussed prospects for expanding exports of Ukrainian agricultural products to Kuwait, cooperation in the field of global food security, and Kuwait’s possible participation in the humanitarian initiative “ Food from Ukraine.”

The Kuwaiti side expressed interest in stable supplies of Ukrainian grain, poultry, beef and honey, and reaffirmed its readiness to facilitate certification procedures for Ukrainian food products entering the Kuwaiti market.
