On 14 March 2022, Ambassador of Ukraine to Kuwait Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa met Kuwaiti human rights expert and international human law consultant Mr. Anwar Al-Rashid.

In cooperation with Mr. Samir Al-Qallaf Mr. Anwar launched a Kuwaiti National Committee to support Ukrainian people in their hard fight for independence and bright European future.
