On 2d January 2023, Ambassador of Ukraine Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa met acting President of Kuwait University Dr. Suad al-Fadli to discuss the issue of Ukrainian students of Kuwait University, as well as prospects for expanding educational cooperation between educational institutions of Ukraine and Kuwait.

During the meeting, Ambassador informed Dr. Suad about the ongoing situation in Ukraine, presented Ukraine’s ten steps for peace as well as Ukraine's grain initiative to support countries on the brink of starvation due to the global food crisis provoked by Russia.

In her turn, Dr. Suad assured the Ambassador of her full support for Ukrainians fighting for freedom and independence, and expressed readiness to facilitate Ukraine within her competence.
