On February 19, 2020 H.E. Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa, Ambassador of Ukraine to the State of Kuwait met with the Secretary General of Kuwait’s National Council of culture, arts and letters Dr. Kamel Al-Abdeljaleel.

The Ambassador expressed gratitude and appreciation for the valuable efforts of the National Council Management to held the concert of ‘Kyiv-Classic’ symphonic Orchestra devoted to the Day of Unity of Ukraine that took place in the framework of the Week of Ukraine in Kuwait 2020.

During the meeting the Kuwaiti side was also invited to consider implementation of a joint project which implies translation of a range of short stories by modern Kuwaiti writers into Ukrainian language to promote the cultural dialogue between Ukraine and Kuwait.
