On January, 11 on the stage of the Kuwait National Museum a concert of chamber orchestra of the P.Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music of Ukraine was held.

Initiated by the diplomatic mission this event took place in the frames of the annual cultural festival “Al-Qurain”, organized by the National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature of Kuwait.
During the concert classical music works of foreign and domestic composers (including M.Lysenko and M.Skoryk) as well as the opera version of Ukrainian folk songs were performed.
The performance of Ukrainian artists aroused great interest among the Kuwaiti society.
The musical evening was attended by General Secretary of the National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature of Kuwait A.Al-Yooha, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in the emirate and the local Ukrainian community, citizens of Kuwait etc.
