On November 24, 2012 on the occasion of commemorating the victims of famines and the 80th anniversary of the Great Famine (Holodomor) of 1932- 1933 in Ukraine memorial evening with participation of staff of Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Kuwait and members of their families was held.

During the eventthe victims of this tragedy of the Ukrainian people were honored by a minute of silence.
