On August 04, 2019 the Ambassador of Ukraine to the State of Kuwait Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa met with the President of Kuwait Olympic Committee Sheikh Fahad Nasser Al-Sabah.

During the meeting the parties discussed the issue of establishing cooperation between national olympic committees of Ukraine and Kuwait, launching children's academies for various kinds of sports in Kuwait, as well as holding sports events in the frameworks of the Week of Ukraine in Kuwait in January 2020.
