On July 24, 2019 the Ambassador of Ukraine to the State of Kuwait Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa met with Director General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Shaikh Mubarak Deij Al-Sabah.

During the meeting the parties discussed the issue of intensifying cooperation in information sphere, in particular the implementation of the Agreement on cooperation between Ukrainian national news agency “Ukrinform” and Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) as well as the exchange of visits of journalists of both countries.

It was agreed to provide media coverage of the Days of Kuwaiti culture in Lviv on August 1-5, 2019 and the Week of Ukraine in Kuwait on January 19-23, 2020, as well as another bilateral events.
