On April 24, 2017 Ambassador Volodymyr Tolkach met with the Assistant Foreign Minister of Kuwait for the consular affairs Sami Abdulaziz Alhamad.

During the meeting the Kuwaiti Side was informed about the new visa regulations of Ukraine that provide an opportunity of issuing Ukrainian entry visas to Kuwaiti nationals on arrival at the Ukrainian international airports in Kyiv and Odesa.  

Both sides agreed that such innovations in the issuance of Ukrainian visa will considerably contribute to the increasing of tourist flow from Kuwait to Ukraine.

The participants of the meeting discussed prospects for simplifying Kuwait visa regime for citizens of Ukraine on the principle of reciprocity, as well as ways of further deepening bilateral cooperation on consular and humanitarian issues.
