G. Veryovka Ukrainian National Honored Academic Folk Choir performance in the State of Kuwait

On August, 31 the G. Veryovka Ukrainian National Honored Academic Folk Choir concert was conducted in the State of Kuwait.
The event took place in the frames of the 10th Summer Cultural Festival at the invitation of the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters of the State of Kuwait as well as Ukrainian cultural days in the State of Kuwait, initiated by the Embassy.
Its program included over 20 vocal, instrumental and dance performances and represented various Ukrainian regions’ folklore (including Crimean Tatars dance).
The concert was attended by representatives of the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters of the State of Kuwait, local intellectuals and the public society, accredited diplomatic corps, Ukrainian community and foreign diasporas.
The event confirmed high performance level of Ukrainian artists, demonstrated originality of folk art traditions as well as popularized the cultural and historical heritage of the Ukrainian people in Kuwait and the Gulf region.
